You have to be on YouTube if you’re a real estate agent looking for leads. There’s really just no way around it anymore. Somehow, somewhere, you must be creating videos…and YouTube is the number one place to create videos for marketing purposes.
Let’s dive into the top 7 reasons I believe real estate agents should use YouTube for real estate lead generation.

As you may already know, YouTube is the second-most used search engine after Google. There are more than 2 billion active users on YouTube and 51% of those users visit YouTube every single day. Plus, YouTube is active in over 100 countries around the world.
There’s no escaping the fact that YouTube is, by far, one of the most powerful online platforms for engaging with a wide and diverse audience. YouTube has also developed some pretty intelligent algorithms that know how to connect viewers with the videos they most want to see.

Sure, YouTube is incredibly popular. However, there really aren’t that many real estate agents using it. And, more importantly, there aren’t that many real estate agents in your area who are using YouTube.

You don’t have to pay YouTube to post a video. There may come a point when you want to pay an editor or someone to help you create more polished content. However, if you just want to start marketing and get your name out there, using YouTube is 100% free.

It’s not unusual to go from zero views to hundreds of thousands of views in just months if you use YouTube correctly! You just have to post consistently and make sure you’re providing valuable content and you will earn views incredibly quickly.
